Marnie is a journalist and writer. She has contributed to publications including the Daily Mail, The Sun, The Times, The Mirror and Sunday Mirror, Marie Claire, Woman, Company, eve and The Guardian. She ghosted Home From War, the inspirational story of Martyn and Michelle Compton, for Random House's Mainstream imprint. The paperback edition will be published on March 4, 2010.
Marnie is now working on other ghost-writing projects, and is the founder of Your Memoir, a service that helps people write their own life stories.
She also runs Trust Sulha, a charitable organisation which funds education for Afghan refugee children in Pakistan. She is also involved in a number of other creative ventures.
Marnie is married to horror writer Thomas Emson, who lives under another name. The couple lives in Kent.
